After the disappointment of yesterday and the rain making a delay in the delivery of the static caravan, today it made it to cardinham! KC Caravans arrived on time and ready to go. Keith, Brian and Michael set about unloading it over the wall from which I had removed the top layer of stone on Sunday and on to the grass at the front of the chapel. With great skill and a total understanding of caravan dynamics they executed the steps required to off load a 35ft long Cosalt caravan from what Keith called 'the small lorry'...! Having done that their attention turned to the space Nick had cut out on Saturday. This was going to need some modification to give space to swing the beast around if we were to get it anywhere near our intended resting place. So with shovels and forks we set too! After a while it was decided a bigger amount of digging than we could do in a day was required and a digger was called for, whilst we waited for that to arrive we sat inside the chapel out the rain! It's great to have family and friends around, Jan and I are so lucky.
