Today we visited the workshop to see the windows in the wood. The small en suite window has been painted in the grey colour we chose and can just be seen through the rectangle window.. shades of Playschool...for our older readers...

I had a lovely day planned by my lovely wife. We went out to Helligan, a Garden rediscovered from the undergrowth about 25yrs ago. We had visited it before in those early days, but today it is in a much better state of repair. The later we dined out on a voucher from our children for a great little restaurant in Lostwithiel called Asquiths. Thank you everyone for your birthday cards and congrats via facebook.
Jan planted Peas, Lettuce, Aubergines Sweet Peas, Tomatoes, Courgettes, Strawberries, Onions, Peppers, Chillies and they are growing!!
Tony created a bit of the dividing wall in the stable today and a huge amount of Cellotex arrived for the floor insulation to go down before the under floor heating arrives. In the corner of the last photo you can make out the steels that Charly made to support the new door frame.
This is the former indoor swimming pool, no water at all and looking very dry....well done Nick and the French drain. Thank you.
The roof looks fab and the velux windows are great, many thanks to both of you... maybe see you again soon if the bat man says yes to the big roof.
Ray and Dave continue to put in Velux windows and slate the roof, whilst Tony, Al and Richard begin to put up the first floor joists. Note how the sun is shining, and the light floods in through the new windows up stairs.
Both Joe and Sarah came to visit this weekend to celebrate birthdays and mothers day too. We had a fantastic time with lambs being born, tree planting and a wonderful Chinese candle that opened up and played happy birthday all with the strike of one match. It was a lovely family event and shows how lucky we are.
If you see either of these two please alert the police immediately.... Gray dropped in out the blue which was a wonderful surprise.
