So can't sit about forever and the leg is fine in a bent up position so got on with making holes through the wall for various services, the gas pipe conduit and waste pipe for the Kitchen and enlarged a hole for the heating and electrics. Also made a compost maker that we bought several weeks back. Jan organised the greenhouse and found we have radish growing in the raised beds already! She also made cakes and cleaned the caravan a busy women as always. We had a delivery of chippings for the veggie bed area and some slabs to put outside the green house, this should make working up there much easier in wet conditions... not that we get much rain!!! Quote of the day from Joe...'What was the bonus ball tonight Dale'
Due to incapacity to do much else.. I have updated the blog. The leg is not sore unless I try to put weight on it and I have not taken pain killers at all today so things are on the up. I hope the post Jan sent yesterday morning on the family whatsapp page turns out to be very true...
Chris came today and used some of the big pile of rocks to create a dry stone wall. It will eventually go around the back too and should help create a lovely sun trap reflecting the days heat as we sit in the cool of the evening sipping wine and entertaining family, friends and visitors This particular evening was not so good sadly as I have torn a calf muscle. I was walking up the front lawn with a bucket of sand, a thing I have done many times and PING an elastic band went off in my left leg. I am going to be out of action for a few days at least.
We have been gardening over the last week and building has taken a back seat. The wooden structure is a set of flower beds and netting, its there honest, for climbers to grow up. Clematis and the like. Note the bug hotel in pride of place. Thanks to the Hawley Hoard.
