Over last few days Dave and Ray have sung a few songs, drunk lots of tea, eaten much cake/biscuits and done a bit of work in their spare time. We have roof windows going in Yippeee!

Dave and Ray have returned to put on the roof and add the velux windows to the building. These are lovely windows that open up to be fire escapes too, very handy should the need arise to get out in a hurry! Tony and Richard have continued to work on the stable floor laying out the en suite wall and starting to add blocks for wall support of the Sunday school first floor.
Jan and I are lucky to have great family and friends and today we had a visitation from two of our favourites... and a great set of welly boots.
Today we saw the first photo of our first window, made by Dave Northey. It looks fabulous and we cant wait to see it for real. Progress on site has been swift over the passed week and today Nick and Al put the soil into the raised beds that Jan put together a while ago. Doing that involved moving more soil about and we managed to block both ends of the road at one point! After a cup of tea we had a big site clear up and of course a big bonfire is always involved in such activity! Al got carried away with the spring cleaning and polished the drain covers, that is dedication that is.
Over last few days Tony completed the gable ends and today began the task of putting in place the rafters for the stable roof. He has done an amazing job of the stonework, many thanks Tony.
Tony has started to build the inner block work for the gable ends of the stable. Once complete the roof structure will go up.
The second part of the floor went down today and you can really begin to see the shape of the link walkway too. The concrete was pumped in making it a quick job.
