We have now got all our down pipes connected to drains and as far as drain works are concerned they are complete...we think!
Well done Nick and the team and many many thanks.

Those big piles of stone from inside the chapel are slowly being used up but we still have a lot left, Chris though, thinks not enough to build the back wall, but lets see.
As we approach the end of the week we have made good progress on preparing for the Hempcrete, no windows till next week but lots of timber around the base and plumbing in place. Colin has been helping again with plumbing, putting timber on the walls for stud work and kitchen cupboards etc
Its wonderful being here as we are loving having regular visits from family and friends. The Chapman family are the latest and it is great to see them, in a new car I might add! Today we all went to the beach, never guess which one...yes our favourite. What was so weird is when we walked from the car park the beach was packed! OMG where did everyone come from there were hundreds of folks enjoying the sun and sand. we've never seen more than a few dozen so it was a shock. Anyway as we sat and chatted watching the boys enjoy the sand, the beach cleared until it was ours again. wonderful. |
